Hi everyone! My name is Kirsty and I am from Dundee, Scotland. I have experienced a number of mental health issues over the years including psychosis and a nine year alcohol addiction that I've eventually learned to manage. I've finally found the right supports for me and had to learn my own do's and don'ts the hard way. I am now so grateful to be free and never tire of feeling physically well along with it. Looking with an eye to becoming a drug and alcohol worker in the future as I have learned a lot about the good life and creating a bridge to it.

As a personal artistic project I am presently endeavouring to work on designing and drawing a deck of Oracle cards - a fantastic tool for reaching insight and clarity. Of the arts I most enjoy drawing and discovering new music. I have found in Fledgling an amazing artistic community which seeks to honour all unique human experiences and enthusiastically create anew from them, delving into whatever the experience may be!
