Fledgling Outreach

'Fledgling are currently raising funds to provide a working Outreach service'

'Fledgling Outreach: This is the Outreach Wing of Fledgling ArtsCollective'

 PLEASE BE AWARE THAT ALL POSTS ON THIS WING ARE POTENTIALLY TRIGGERING TO THOSE WITH MENTAL HEALTH PROBLEMS.

 ::LEGAL DISCLAIMER::

 Fledgling Outreach is in NO WAY a substitute for professional, psychiatric help~ although we will be able to offer professional help when we receive funding.

 At this time, we offer friendship and support in a non-formal, non professional format.

 There are volunteers on duty almost 24-7 and phone numbers provided for one-on-one peer support, but again, we must stress that this service is non-professional and simply an offer of support.

 If you are feeling in desperate need of urgent care we strongly advise that you contact your local emergency medical help service and do not use this forum as a sole basis of receiving help.

 In the not to distant future, Fledgling hopes to expand this wing to offer free and professional counseling and much much more.

 Watch this space!

 For now, our Outreach volunteers are here to listen, talk and empathise. Remember that what might seem a permanent solution to a problem is only a fast self destruction method, from which there is no way back.

 The way you are feeling now won't last forever. Most of us here at Fledgling have been where you are and felt what you've felt, we have got through it and we can promise you will too.

 There is always a much better way.

 Here at Fledgling, we believe one of those ways is through art and expression:

 'We provide a platform both online and offline for those with mental health problems, addiction or who feel like they don't quite 'fit' to express themselves through art as catharsis. The arts are a great medicine!'

 Outreach is the place to come when your feathers are feeling ruffled and you need help to soar again.

 There is only one YOU, so that makes you precious and at Fledgling, there is a place for everyone.'
